OUR STORY

Originally from the Southwest, Mario and Connie Viramontes moved to the Central Valley to build a better life for their family. In 1985, Mario explored his entrepreneurial passion by taking to market his zesty Tio Mario’s Salsa. He showcased this salsa at local food expos around California. In 1986, a chance encounter with the owner of American Consumer Food Shows led Mario to embark on a journey in the event business as a vendor, and later a show manager.
 
With the support of his wife, Mario started his own business: Expo Advertising—later renamed Expo Marketing & Services—which specialized in trade shows and large events. He has found immense gratification in serving his clients and providing them with the best service possible.
Much has changed since Mario and Connie started their humble business. They’ve raised five children, and now have eight grandchildren. Just like their family, their business continues to grow. Expo now consists of three main businesses: Expo Décor, Expo Audio Visual, and Expo Party Rentals.
